01
The challenge
Manual trains ran on gut feeling, causing line stops from shortages. At the same time the client needed eleven extra operators for a new line.
02
The solution
The LT Tug 3000 now runs a fixed route with calls from the MES. Empty carts are collected automatically. Installation took place during the summer shutdown.
03
The result
No more line stops from material shortage, and eleven staff were moved to the new line instead of hiring externally.
“The tuggers run to the rhythm of the line, not to whichever driver happens to be free.”
